The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.Blackmore rode Rasco (reserve), trained by L. Young (Race 6)

326A Jim Murphy Fence Builder Beginners S'ch

B. Browne, rider of Redrobin trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

326D Sportsmens (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Mrs Maureen Danagher, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Carraig Beag, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Open To The World, trained by C. Roche, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped slowly and deliberately before staying on past beaten horses in the straight.

326F Horse & Jockey H'cap H'dle

C. Brassil, rider of Island Eddie trained by S.J. Mahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left in running.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the third last hurdle to be omitted for the fifth and sixth race.
